What is LNG? Almost everyone can answer that. What is BOG? Well, this is where not everyone can answer. BOG (Boil-Off Gas) is the evaporation of LNG or other liquefied gases (such as hydrogen/nitrogen) stored in a tank. This is caused by heat leakage from the surrounding environment. This occurs during storage, transportation, loading, or unloading and will increase pressure inside the tank if not managed.
